Goals for 2009
In 2009 we plan to focus on the developers easiness in using Jibe. Our main goal is to provide a rapid development framework for quickly building user interfaces on top of the Alfresco repository.
Release 3.0 - November 2009?
Should have some API changes, mainly in the configuration part
Release 3.0RC1 - mid September 2009
Within this release we will especially provide new configuration changes and it should be a big step forward in standardizing the development model.
Release 2.1.2 - end August 2009
Maintenance release.
Release 2.1.1 - mid June 2009
Maintenance release.
Release 2.1 - mid April 2009
This release is planned for mid April. We do expect to have it on time and maybe it will be promoted as Jibe 3.0. A lot of enhancements will be included in this release like JBoss rules support (decision tables) for action evaluations, Junit/JUnitPerf tests and performances measurement (like load testing).
We are planning to add some Alfresco features like rules management and permissions management to the Repository browser module.
To be up to date check our Jira for the 2.1 release
Release 2.0 - end February 2009
With Jibe 2.0 we are focusing on releasing a stable version, with a new XML schema that is supporting the configuration. One of the most important improvements are the Javascript and CSS minimization and upgrade to ExtJS 2.2.1
